Toplam malzeme akışı, üst koni içinde dönen tüpün, alt koni çevresinde sabit hızda dönmesiyle (50 devir/dakika) eşit olarak dağıtılır. Bir, iki veya üç tane ayarlanabilir örnek yuvası vardır. Her dönme esnasında yuvanın genişliğine karşılık gelen örnek toplama haznesi bulunur.
